Electronics Innovation at the Forefront: Enhancing ATLAS detector capabilities for HL-LHC

Our group is actively engaged in the simulation performance studies concerning the ATLAS detector within the framework of the High Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC). The primary objective is to refine the design and calibration of the detector to ensure the precise reconstruction of data, which is essential for the accurate interpretation of findings and the facilitation of discoveries in particle physics within the HL-LHC environment. Presently, our focus lies on the enhancement of the ATLAS detector for the High Luminosity phase, entailing the development of novel readout electronics for the hadronic calorimeter. Furthermore, we shoulder the responsibility for the design, production, and installation of the front-module of the TileCal PreProcessor, a key component of the backend electronics, serving as the interface between the detector and the ATLAS trigger and data acquisition systems.
